ROCHE Team Feb. 2017

As you continue to praise and pray for the continuation of the construction of the future Girls’ School in Tanzania and for the growing church in Senegal, here now are some email excerpts from the team in Niger.
The ROCHE team has started up discipleship groups with kids by choosing those who show an interest in spiritual things, along with leadership traits; kids who are involved in one of ROCHE’s youth activities (athletics, academics, music, art, kid's clubs, etc).” [NB]
"In the soccSoccer Teamer team discipleship group, three of the four boys have confessed Christ as their Savior, and one of them recently led another to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. A couple days later during practice, one of the four approached Justin, declaring that another one of them had also believed. Justin looked at the one mentioned, and with a smile, the boy nodded his head in happy confession. Six of the boys now meet weekly to study the Scriptures. Pray for the rest to be drawn to Jesus. The team is growing together and playing together well too.

After-school tutoring classes are also going well. A teacher approached me a couple days ago and said she could see an improvement in the students that are coming for tutoring. We also have the pleasure of teaching the Bible chronologically each time we meet for tutoring, which is twice a week. Many of the students are interested in these stories, and some may even believe in Jesus, but others make fun of the students that pay attention and show interest. Pray that God would soften hearts and that those who believe would be bold to make their faith known. Pray also for wisdom for me as I hope to start a discipleship group as Justin did for his soccer team.
 Kids' Club
Hot season has begun, so we ask you to pray for our team as the heat makes us feel exhausted. Please pray for energy and endurance for these next few months.” [AG]

"Kids Club is where 200-300 kids meet weekly to learn more of Christ’ love for them. We sing songs, dance, laugh, and love on the kids. This is the highlight of our week and we are thankful for what the Lord is doing in these precious lives. Pray that their eyes would be opened to see Christ's love for them." [MB]
KING of GLORY Movie on WLMB April 2nd 1pm

The Lord keeps opening doors for His story and message to be proclaimed via ROCK's multi-language radio broadcasts, books, and movie. In addition to God burdening an increasing number of His servants to translate and record KING of GLORY into new languages, a number of television stations around the world are requesting permission to air KING of GLORY. Some plan to show it in its 15-episode design, others in its short 70-scene format, some as 8 half-hour programs, and yet others as 2 feature-length films (Old and New Testaments). And on Sunday, April 2, WLMB in Toledo, Ohio will air the full movie, starting at 1 PM. We look to the Lord to bless and multiply each of these fresh opportunities to the encouragement and equipping of His people, and to the irreversible transformation of those who will, for the first time in their lives, be awe-struck as they see the big picture of God's plan foretold and fulfilled. As the Lord Himself put it, "so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Me" (Acts 26:18).
